UGH!

UGHWhat about improving your mind by actually opening them, and then reading them? Isn’t that what books are for?

  2. ARGH - 'decorator' fake books- BEWARE! I guess that means no one wants them for their content so they have to be used as 'accessories' - for those big empty shelves in big empty mcmansions and the non-reading reality show watching inhabitants.

  3. And--shocker!--not a single one is sold out.

  4. That's sad...funny, too, but very sad that books could be considered merely decorative objects. I suppose it's a sign of the wider decline of society.

  5. You know what drives me bonkers? Books bought and displayed because they fit the colour scheme. ACK Books bought because their spines match curtains! Have you ever seen Rosalind Russel in Auntie Mame? Her face, when the snooty fiance' coos about books being decorative - that's mine when I see colour coordinated books.
